Windows 10 latest updates - You May Not know the Release Date

You May Not Receive Windows 10 on its July 29th Release Date

July 7, 2015

Many of us, who have already registered to get their hands on Windows 10 with Microsoft’s Upgrade notification, there is a sad and disappointing news that you may not be able to receive the update by the month’s end, as you might have expected.

Windows 10 Upgrade Release: What You Need to Know

Last month, during the beginning of June, Microsoft officially announced that Windows 10 will be released on July 29. However, that doesn’t means that everyone will be able to receive the update on that date.

The first few lucky person who will be able to receive the updates are those who have helped out Microsoft to help find the flaws in Windows 10 via working on the Windows Insider Program, which was launched last year in October.

Last Thursday, 2nd July, Terry Myerson, Microsoft’s executive vice president of operating system said in a blog post that “Starting on July 29, we will start rolling out Windows 10 to our Windows Insiders. From there, we will start notifying reserved systems in waves, slowly scaling up after July 29th.”

Overall, though the news might be a disappointment for many of those who have expected the update on July 29th itself, yet still it is worth to wait.
